About the Journal
Hyrcanian Journal of Clinical Medicine (Hyrcan J Clin Med) is an independent, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the advancement of clinical medicine and health sciences. The journal has a particular focus on clinical and healthcare issues relevant to Iran, with special attention to northern Iran and the Hyrcanian region of the southern Caspian Sea. It aims to provide a scientific platform for research addressing regional health needs, disease patterns, healthcare priorities, and clinical challenges in these communities.
While maintaining a strong local and regional focus, the journal welcomes high-quality scientific contributions from across Iran, neighboring countries, and the international scientific community. Research does not need to be region-specific to be considered for publication, provided that it falls within the journal’s aims and scope and meets its standards of scientific quality and methodological rigor.
The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, case reports, case series, brief communications, and letters to the editor across a broad range of clinical and medical disciplines. Particular emphasis is placed on research with clinical relevance and potential implications for disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, patient care, healthcare delivery, and public health.
Hyrcanian Journal of Clinical Medicine encourages interdisciplinary collaboration among physicians, healthcare professionals, researchers, and experts in medical and health sciences. Through its regional focus and international scope, the journal seeks to facilitate the dissemination of clinically relevant knowledge and contribute to the advancement of healthcare in Iran, the Hyrcanian region, and beyond.
